But with GLP1s the idea is that you are not starving at all.

Yes. Same people who once considered 1200 calories deadly starvation are now causally eating that same amount of calories with GLP1 and are perfectly happy and healthy.

Actresses don't do it for vanity though: They do it to stay employed, and back then (and maybe still now) to avoid being constantly bullied at work for weighing 5lbs too many.

But with GLP1s the idea is that you are not starving at all. It's the opposite: you feel full easily, have fewer cravings, and ime makes you actually life without all the negative thoughts and deprivation and guilt, plus you get to also weigh less. Maybe some would consider it vain, but I personally find it so liberating to not have to think about how much I weigh or overthink what I eat.

When you're technically a normal weight it is very hard to get your body below it's "set point".
I have weighed 126 since high school. Totally normal weight but not skinny. I've gotten down to 118-120 ONLY when I've been deathly ill with the flu and THEN the (female) compliments come rushing in. "You look amazing!" A friend told me "you should do whatever you were doing last winter, your body looked perfect then." Suffering from covid, but thanks.

+1 I am the same but my set weight is 135 and I wish it was 126.

Who says we have been starving our whole lives?

Perimenopause and menopause makes most women gain weight.

We just want some "Vanity Weight Loss" and age gracefully thin.

Do not take phentermine. It’s like speed. Definitely take a glp1 over phentermine. I say this as someone who’s taken both for years.

You don't need a GLP-1 - someone like you is who phentermine is made for. Phentermine is safe and will curb your appetite.
