Just looking at the coverage makes my stomach turn. I love the gowns but these people are horrible, just insufferable..a room full of toxic raging narcissists kissing each others asses while the plebs look on. I hate that as a society we’ve put these awful people on a pedestal, half of them are nepo babies and didn’t earn it. When will Hollywood finally be over? I’m ready for the downfall of this entire industry.

I was glad to see Pammy Anderson went back to platinum, looks a million times better.

I mean, honestly, wearing an outfit that doesn't allow shape wear and is so revealing at that age - kudos to her on all her hard work.

Sure, yay for JLo for staying in shape…but shouldn’t her goal be looking gorgeous AND being taken seriously by the industry and viewers around the world?

This dress is a big miss. Even worse, it makes her look desperate…which makes people feel sorry for her (or even worse, think she’s pathetic, immature, clueless, etc.).

Jen Garner is getting nothing but love from the fashion press for her look last night. Comments along the lines of classic/classy, elegant, glowing, etc.

I think you're bringing some specific baggage to this with the comparison with these two. They have totally different vibes and that has always been the case. Of course you like Jen G.'s style more; I do too, because I could pull it off. That's irrelevant.

What you're saying is that how women dress should impact how seriously they're taken in the film/fashion industry and that women of a certain age should slink away and not offend others by their *fashion* choices. Nah. Timothy Chalamet a few weeks ago matched his GF in the most hideous orange outfit. No one questioned his seriousness as an actor. Now, I don't think JLo is a very talented actress, but that has nothing to do with her outfit.

Disagree.

If JLo wants to continue to land on the worst dressed list because she’s Hell bent on showing far too much skin for a Hollywood event, that’s her prerogative.

But the reactions across social media and mainstream media are pretty clear: she doesn’t look good. Despite having a great body, she isn’t dressing it well.

She could still be sexy while covering up her belly button. But she’s opting to show so much skin and she’s being judged for it. You’d think she would learn and make some adjustments.

I think she’s desperate to remain seen as a sex symbol. That’s fine. But heck, even Kris Jenner (who similarly clings to her youthful appearance) doesn’t show the world her belly button.

I wish we still had Joan Rivers and Fashion Police.

She looks amazing. But the dress is so boring. Like a $250 dress from Nordstrom or Bloomingdales.

BORING!

I loved Rose Byrne's gown but the fit wasn't quite right, think the straps needed to be pulled up a touch.

I agree, but it is very "on brand." Jenns whole thing is like she is a boring suburban mom and this looks like something a tired housewife could pull off the closet floor and be "acceptable."

Agree. Shame, because she has a great body and could show it off just a bit!

Anonymous wrote:JLo what a tacky dress, eww. JLaw, too. I'm no fan of Kylie Jenner, but that's a great bombshell look.

Otherwise I like the more classic gowns, like those worn by Elle Fanning, Tessa Thompson, Robin Wright and, yes, Amal Clooney. I think Elle's is my favorite.

Agree with all of this. Read somewhere that JLo and JLaw were worst dressed.

Are these hip implants??

I truly don’t get the hype around her. Her hips look really wide and she looks like she could be pregnant. I just don’t see why this is stunning.

I’ve always felt like all the Kardashians are average at best, but clearly people see something I don’t.

I think the Kardashians are really good at styling from head to toe. Hair, makeup, dress, jewelry, clutch, and shoes are always coordinated and the end result is always on brand: sexy. They bring a vibe.

I recently saw Kendall on a British Vogue runway clip and she has the same skinny waist and curvy hips. It’s the epitome of female sexuality.

Plus, Kylie’s dress is gorgeous. It stood out last night.

Now here’s what I can’t understand: what’s the appeal of Timothee Chalomet? I can’t find anything about him remotely attractive or special.

TC is a charismatic and gifted actor but needs to grow emotionally beyond playing enigmas. His turns in Dune and a Complete Unknown were phenom.

I do think this pairing is odd and probably stunting his growth to move beyond surface appearances.

I’m no Kardashian fan - but to be fair they are far from average. May not be your preferred style but physically average they ain’t.

I just wish they had more personality/ intellect/ depth. I’m embarrassed for their kids that they act like sex kittens/ fashion slaves so publicly and for so long with no regard for their kids’ feelings or dignity.

Aniston used to do the same thing: keep it simple and elegant to show off her super fine body while looking “relatable” to women. It’s a brand, and both Jens have embraced it…but Garner does it better.

I think the biggest problem with J Lo is that she feels compelled to dress overtly sexy and most of us are over it.

I think the dress would have been better with more floral coverage of her stomach. Her belly button shouldn’t be front and center on display. She looks ridiculous.

Heck, Miley wore long sleeves last night and finally looked elegant.
