My kids are in high school now, so I am out of the trenches as far as childcare goes but I benefitted immensely when we were allowed to WFH and be present around my kids. Just me being there was a huge help to our family, even though I was working.
This is one tax I am willing to pay, it’s a shame that the richest country in the world doesn’t have decent programs to support working parents.
You should not be a parent unless you are financially able to support a child.
Then why are people upset about snap during the shutdown.
