Subject: Physics major but I don’t think she has what it takes.
This is a hard situation. It's great that she has the interest. Does she have ideas with what she would want to do? I was like this - loved science but had my struggles. It's amplified by the fact you are around people who also love math and science and are better at it than you. Things that helped were looking at the requirements for the major, taking some classes over the summer so I could focus on one at a time, and knowing what tutoring resources are available. Tutoring is easier to find now. But many science degrees require graduate school and sadly for graduate schools these days, you need to be perfect.

Why? Is physics at Harvey Mudd more demanding than UMD/UVA?
But UMD ranks very high in Physics.
