This is disgusting.
Smaller family--2 or 3 times daily (and it is always full because we have pets).
Okay. Why are you running your dishwasher multiple times a day because of your pets? Do you cook for them?
+1 what does this mean??? I have a pet but it does not impact our dishwasher practices

Dry food bowls don't get changed much.

One time I let my dishes pile up for about three weeks until they smelled. When I was finally picking through them to rinse and load into the dishwasher there were huge slugs on some of them! How the hell did that happen? It tought me a lesson about not letting them sit for so long.Anonymous wrote:So gross how people allow dirty dishes to stack up and sit around in the sink or dishwashers. Heathens.

We are currently a family of three and we run ours about every 1.5 days. It feels excessive and I’m just curious what other household usage looks like.
Do you let your crusty dishes just sit in that space for 1.5 days? It's faster to wash by hand, folks.
