So, what I'm doing and what is probably easier, is to go to his YouTube page and listen to his songs and you can easily find English translation of the lyrics online so then you'll know the songs by heart in time for the show.

The thing I find funny about all this is that when performers do live shows it's often difficult to understand the lyrics even in English - most people enjoy the performance because they already know the artist's songs and if they don't, they just jive to the music and the choreography and the costumes and light show and don't worry about what's being said.

It's not the Spanish, it's the brown skin and his embrace of the LGBTQ+ community and his total rejection of traditional masculinity including the misogyny that makes MAGA crazy at the thought of Bad Bunny.

The last Super Bowl halftime shows I actually watched were Kendrick Lamar last year and Dre & Snoop in 2022. Neither were great.

If I’m being honest, since Prince back in the 2000s the performances have gone down hill.

I can't think of any Puerto Rican men in the spotlight over the 5 decades of my life who weren't freaking hot. Latin men are 1000% hotter than white men to begin with, and the majority of Puerto Rican men in the cultural spotlight in the US have been athletes, actors, musicians, etc. and pretty darn hot.

I'm sure Puerto Rico and the mainland diaspora have plenty of overweight unkempt middle aged men, but then so does the white population in the US, and they don't have a lovely accent and the hint of a once beautiful youth that one can squint and almost see.

Yeah, the more I'm thinking about it, the more I'm thinking MAGA men hate Bad Bunny because they can't hold a candle to him and never, ever could. On Super Bowl night there will be MAGA women who go to bed, close their eyes, endure and think of Bad Bunny's Calvin Klein ad.
