Illegal aliens receive emergency Medicaid under a law passed in 1986. "Hospitals can get federal Medicaid funding to reimburse them for emergency services they are required to provide to low-income individuals, regardless of immigration status, which includes undocumented people," Mr Cuello told us.
"Emergency Medicaid is very temporary coverage for the medical services provided at all emergency rooms, often just one service on one day, but not necessarily ongoing health insurance enrollment, like a U.S. citizen can pay for, or receives by qualifying for Medicaid," he added.

Which isn't happening here. And Republicans are being so rigid about it, why should Democrats trust the idea that those would be revisted at a later date?
What is there to negotiate, you find the govt as is and then talk about policy and budget changes. Trump and the republicans are being very understanding by not introducing any cuts.
The CR language allows for rescisions and other actions which basically make it not a clean CR.

If this shutdown is the fault of Democrats then why are Republicans having to lie about it and falsely claim it's because of "illegal aliens?"
