"So in fact, I'm quite sure this was illegal, and government-sanctioned murder."

"I agree. Use some logic. If there were 11 people aboard that 24’ open dory with four big engines, the cargo was some of those humans. Trump blew up traffickers and their victims. They should have followed protocol which is to wait until they are in U.S. waters and board the boat. Interview those aboard. Gather intel. Engage in a fire fight if fired on first.
I think Trump intended to proudly announce this war crime yesterday at his bizarre news conference, but a victim boat had not been annihilated yet. That’s why he was 45 minutes late to the podium."

Now that we know that Trump is willing to murder 11 unknown people with unknown intent, it makes perfect sense that he was willing to have two US citizens murdered on 7-13-2024 to get ahead in the polls. They were just collateral damage on the way to reelecting a pedophile and murderer.

I'm sure the guys in the boat were not the guys who have the most power in whatever organization they are part of. Not the bottom of the heap but definitely not the top.

Oh yeah—extra-judicial executions??

Have you ever heard of due process?

WTH is wrong with you people?

International waters.

International Law, should then be in effect, which Trump and the US Navy broke.

46 U.S. Code Subtitle VII Chapter 705 - MARITIME DRUG LAW ENFORCEMENT

--declares US has jurisdiction over non-flagged vessels in international waters and possessing drugs (or manufacturing, etc) on such vessels is prohibited
__AND states:
(b)Venue.—A person violating section 70503 or 70508—
(1)shall be tried in the district in which such offense was committed; or
(2)if the offense was begun or committed upon the high seas, or elsewhere outside the jurisdiction of any particular State or district, may be tried in any district.

Nothing about summary executions

LOL

Democrats would like them tried in front of a Rhode Island District Court judge where they can be found not guilty over a trial several years later, countersue and be given a 7 figure monetary settlement.

Yeah, F that noise. Kill them on the sea, do it publicly, and broadcast it for the world to see so others will think twice.

Which is illegal.

That's right. A former president of the Philippines, Duterte, is currently before the International Criminal Court in The Hague for the extrajudicial killings of 6,000-0,000 people he endorsed as part of his "war on drugs." If Trump keeps this up, he may find himself before the ICC one day as well.

No, we withdrew from the ICC under Bush to protect soldiers from international jurisdiction for war crimes committed in the middle east. We are also not signatory to whatever the international law is that governs the seas, although historically we act as if we are.

Due process for criminals but none for innocent victims, right?

That's right, forget courts, forget laws, forget everything. Who needs civilization anyway?

But what you wrote is technically nonsensical. Due process is what the government owes anyone who is accused. By your logic, why bother having a government? Someone shoots your brother, you shoot their brother. Oh, wait, that's what gangs do.

No, they didn't.

Uh, yes they did. At this point, venzeula could bring trump on charges of murder in the international court.

Trump has immunity. Not so the captain of the US ship.

trump does not have ICC immunity.

Nor does he have permanent absolution from all other nations. If he doesn't die in office, he won't be able to travel outside of the country.

Probably not, it will most likely take several examples to get the message across.
