Lol, I will be wearing the rain gear I bought after that miserable Jeff Cup!

Yeah in general I'd agree (although can still be way too hot/humid), but also prime season for storms and this is one of those weekends.

No cancellations if games are played on turf

Seems like DC area is spared a bit, but turf or no turf 40-60 mph winds is just a recipe for some horrible soccer.

The high winds are more on the coast. Not really inland.

Yes true - juggling tournaments in Wilmington, NC/ VA/NJ this weekend haha

the McLean u17s are in an unfortunate bracket. It seems they would do much better if they were down a level.

WAGS is not the flex it once was. ECNL made sure of that.

Vda 2012 was in the 4th bracket at Jefferson Cup. What does this have to do with wags?

I hope you know posts like this about Vda don’t make them look bad. Just brings more attention to them.
this. Now FVU however is in all brackets on the girls side. Bringing overpowered ECNL players to wags brackets with GA and RL teams will lead to ez trophies and angry sidelines. Because WHY are you here? And OMG if you lose any of the brackets it will be the most embarrassing thing we’ve seen in a while.

I didn’t interpret FVU in WAGS as a trophy hunt as much as I assumed nobody told them that the cool kids aren’t playing in WAGS this year.

They dont have a choice as ECNL wants to get some extra $$$$$

It's true, but I'm glad to play a bunch of different teams than the same ones at WAGS. RIP the weather this weekend though

Your saying a bunch of different teams but are they not the same teams that played in WAGS year prior? Wouldn't Richmond have been more convenient for all parties? And also throw the GA mix in, and you really got some different teams.

I was speaking from another NA ECNL team's perspective not FVU. The top flight include teams we often play, but the ECNL event has new teams from GA/FL/NC etc. Our club went to WAGS every year before swapping to the ECNL Wilmington event last year.
