And how would she have paid for her kids? Jon never had a real job. I think she got caught up in the money and probably felt like that was her best option to stay home with her kids. Can you imagine trying to be a nurse and take care of 8 young kids?
Jon had a job. He worked in IT. They met at a company picnic.
Jon did not have a job that would provide for a family of ten. He was a giant man child. He went on to be a DJ and acted like a teenager.
I don't completely disagree, but he was only a couple years out of high school when he met Kate, then they dated and got married. So, yes, for a short time after they split he did seem to live the single 20s life he never had. Since then he seems to have settled down.
He was a parent at that point. Do you have a lot of sympathy for other dads who decide they just want to have fun and relive the single life despite having 8 kids? I’m sure those guys are all over dating apps but I don’t think mature women find them appealing. Do you think Kate deserved a chance to live the single life she never had either? Jon is not a victim here.

He went to high school, initially went to military training but was discharged due to having having been previously institutionalize. He then went to college. Jon’s long term girlfriend who was living with Collin during all those teen years spoke very highly of Collin Just doesn’t really fit with him being such a wild animal and so violent that she was justified in trying him up in a basement and institutionalizing him with no contact.

Immediately started dating 20somethings and "DJing" at a local Ruby Tuesday's. (My cousin who lives in Berks Co. went once with her friends just to witness the train wreck lol.)

When my mother would put me in that room multiple times,” Collin said, “she had zip-tied my hands and feet together and bolt locked the door, turned the lights off and had cameras there just watching me."
WHAT?? Is this true?
She didn’t deny it. She doesn't even say she didn't do it:
PEOPLE has reached out to Kate and her attorney, Richard Puleo, for comment but has not received a response. Puleo tespinded he didn't believe that Kate had done anything to "intentionally harm" her son and that "she did what she did to protect herself and her family" from what he called "troubled behavior.
Collin was always the scapegoat. Kate was mad he told a teacher he was being abused so she pulled him out jf school. Also he didn’t want to film anymore and she got upset.
Anonymous wrote:Looking back as a responsible non-twenty something adult - and considering the dynamics of a marriage and that many children, I ask myself was Kate really the problem?
I don’t think I stand firmly in the camp of Kate was an awful person. She was stressed, life was happening real time, and her personality isn’t the sweetest Michelle Duggar type flow and vibe but she was take charge. She kept sh$@ under control.

If there was proof, wouldn’t she have been prosecuted?

The only reason people do is because they don't listen to their doctors (who would encourage reducing the pregnancy through selective abortion early on) and instead listen to some old white dude who runs a church out of his basement.
And then once the higher order multiples are here, they get exploited for tv shows. It's gross.
You are misplacing the blame.
It rests solely on the money grubbing, moral-deficient greedy doctors who implant a litter of babies into unstable women knowing that is does not happen naturally and is dangerous for all involved.
The doctors who implant more than potential triplets are a special kind of evil and should receive 99% of your wrath.
That's not Kate's thing, doctors didn't implant embryos via IVF. She's sketchy on the details but she was on a drug regimen to ovulate and doctors told her to abstain during a period of time to prevent something like higher order multiples from happening. Most sane people would follow protocol and listen to that, they did not. There's a reason the Octomom doctor had his license stripped (he DID do IVF with a bunch of embryos) and no one even knows who Kate's doctor was. They didn't do anything wrong, the Gosselins acted against medical advice.
