Because no other pool wanted to host it.
That is not true.
So those pools will step up next year? Which ones?
I am of the camp who think iIAS and ASR should be at an indoor location like GMU or Oakmount. Tired of the rushing to get to ASR, sitting in hot humid cars, for the event to ultimately cancelled. Charge fees if needed to cover the facility rentals.

Put up or shut up. Pinecrest was the ONLY pool that volunteered. Huge shout out to them for welcoming the league to take over their pool this week and all the hard work they put into making it possible.

If a pool other than Pinecrest wants to take it on, please do so!!!! I live in the neighborhood and want my pool back

Appreciate Pinecrest hosting and they did an awesome job with organization, viewing, etc.
BUT with the shallow dive end, Pinecrest should never have been hosting such a huge meet. Don’t even feel comfortable with a dual meet there. When I saw the post about an ambulance being called, I immediately thought it was because of the shallow dive end. DC did scrape the bottom of the pool with their knees when there last year. Anybody trying to defend kids diving into 2.5 feet is off their rocker.

2.5’
I've got to assume that's not right. MCSL has minimum depth rules for dive-in entries and I don't think this would even come close.
