Sure. Here’s another explanation: he’s just WRONG! And the hundreds of other residents know that the case is nonsense.

It's not about being "a coward or clueless" about their homes. People take care of their homes, but most people are too busy or disinterested to watch what their HOA board is doing and a lot of HOA board members don't read or understand their bylaws. They just go ahead and do what they think is "right" for the community. And sometimes they do things that are legally wrong or violate the bylaws or make unauthorized expenditures. You end up paying for things, like maintaining city property or work on private properties, that is not the HOA's responsibility. Some members don't care about additional unauthorized costs, but some do. It comes down to what was agreed to by the members in the bylaws when they bought their homes.

Thank god for Frank. What would the community do without him? He’s apparently the only resident with the insight, wisdom, foresight, and courage to take on this grave injustice — at great financial and reputational risk. A true hero.

Not a single other resident signed on to this crusade/lawsuit that somehow is ripping everyone off. Will any other residents at least voluntarily testify on his behalf at trial?

He’s doing god’s work, truly. I just hope that at least one other resident eventually sees the light and musters the courage to care about this incredibly important issue.

It's a question of law for the court, not an opinion vote. Why would other residents need to testify? You seem to misunderstand how the legal system works.
