I know that adults are responsible for their own bad decisions, but I give Tatum a pass because her parents were beyond-the-pale horror shows, between her abusive alcoholic neglectful mother who lived with a teenage boyfriend and never even took Tatum to a basic dental appointment, and her narcissistic, nasty father who punched her in the face when she won an Oscar. She seems like she means well and tries to do the right thing, and her kids seem to genuinely care about her.
