They have likely had complaints. Anyone who thinks “but there were other spots” or “I will only be a few minutes” are self absorbed. You have no idea when the next people are coming. You just thought you were more important than other people.

I am sorry you were sick and pregnant. The manager could have showed some sympathy, but likely a lot of people park there and lie about the reason.

I am also sorry that OP was sick and having a bad day but the bolded above is the truth. Your actions show that you do believe that you are more important than others. Not a good look especially when a child will be eventually in the picture and modeling your (poor) behavior.

It's a much better look than thinking you're better than everyone who goes into the store and shops on foot. Those spots were meant for safety during the pandemic when people really needed to stay away from each other. Today, if you choose to do pick up, you absolutely do not need to be in the first row. Those should be for people like op who is getting out of her car to get her meds. You are not in the least bit inconvenienced by having to wait a few rows over.

Now it is for the workers so they so t need to trek out to the outer limits.

OP was wrong. Sorry you’re having a bad day but others of us having the same kind of bad day are sucking it up.

The workers do quite a of trekking up and down aisles shopping for you. You want to save them 40 steps in the parking lot?
