these were definitely a thing before covid. I remember outback and all the like chains (chili’s etc…) having not only designated spots but a whole separate entrance for pickup. That was when I was in high school and I’m 43 so yeah-not just covid.

it’s basically just saying people that aren’t super good at understanding the internet/apps etc…This would include my own dad and in-laws. They can use the internet-sure, but not for more complicated things like the awful “pickup scheduling” that some people don’t even know is still going on. Even though it’s an option as big as anything else on the page when you are checking out at literally any store online.

Not the PP you're responding to, but I'm sure you'll find it inconceivable that some of us prefer to shop for ourselves because the shoppers never pick the right produce and don't care about looking for items very carefully. Not using pick up for everything is most certainly not because I don't know how. You should refrain from feeling superior over such dumb shit.


definitely not superior but absolutely more efficient and better with time management 🙂


I don't mind spending the extra 10 minutes to get better products and pay way less.
