No class. Buffoon! Idiot. Sad. Pathetic. Embarrassment. Rambling.
Demented.
He wears the hat everywhere because he’s too vain and insecure about his balding head and his crazy combover blowing in the wind. There was a photo once of him walking across the WH lawn with his combover blowing straight up and it was super ridiculous so he’s never going to have that happen again.

He gave an excellent speech, captured and held the attention of the audience, and sparkled some light humor throughout. I only wish I could have been there in person to witness such a historic speech. So proud of him.
Yes everyone was absolutely silent as he ranted about William Levitt’s trophy wife and yacht. This is the same story he told the Boy Scout jamboree years ago. WTAF.
That was an awful story the first time and the boy scouts never invited him again. Levitt was a racist who tried to build communities that excluded blacks and jews despite being Jewish just to make a buck off of white racist people and the supreme court had to get involved to integrate the neighborhood. Truly the lowest of the low with or without a Trophy wife. How stupid to tell the same speech again.
I remember when he gave that speech to the Boy Scout jamboree. Rex tillerson who has dedicated much of his life to serving the Scouts was standing next to him and looked like he was hoping the earth would swallow them both whole. That version of the speech had oblique references to doing blow on the boat I think. The whole thing was harshlt inappropriate for preteen and teen boys. Not any better for West Point grads. But he’s too old to learn a new story I guess.
That speech also made a mockery of the boy scout law showcasing how Trump did not understand the purpose of any of the characteristics of a scout particularly loyalty. Loyalty to Trump means loyalty to him, not to a higher power. He talked about firing people if they didn't do exactly as he told the. It was such a gross speech to a bunch of teens. Why did West Point have him? They knew it was going to be awful.

Trump talks about "trophy wives"
MAGA cult of stupids

He did ramble quite a bit, but towards the end it was quite good. He also emphasized that he knew they were going to do great things. Trump always gives rambling speeches.
At least he did not tell them that he was recruited to play football there and received an appointment, but that Roger Staubach had been recruited so he knew he might not play. Maybe, he could have substituted Pete Dawkins (earlier WP Heisman winner) for Staubach.
That’s boilerplate grad speech stuff. AI can do that. Doesn’t make it a very good speech.
No. It was not boilerplate. You did not listen to all of it. He seriously honored the cadets who were graduating. Repeatedly. Sure, there was typical Trump MAGA, too, but there was some seriously good moments in the speech.

My senior navel officer dad detested him. So some of the old timers are savvy and have as much respect for him as he has for the military which is to say not much.
