You are obviously unfamiliar with the actual demographic makeup of immersion classes, their home schools, schools where immersion is housed, etc.

To the perspn who wrote "self segregate", you sound like Will Jawando who complained about the immersion programs, then had his daughter attend, only to pull her out to another school. We are Latino with our kids in one of the immersion programs. Our kids peers are come from all background. I don't think you know what you are talking about.

Immersion doesn't work for every kid. Jawando's concerns were perfectly valid and him choosing what is best for his child is his business. Stop being gross.

Jawando is the one who is gross (NP here). He started a big hullabaloo about equity in the immersion programs conveniently right at the time he wanted his kids to go. Then instead of just putting his kid’s name in the lottery, he pulled strings for his kid to jump the list and start at RCF. I know this for a fact. I have spoken to his wife who told me this. Then he pulled his kid out. He is just such a hypocrite and opportunist. I will never, ever vote for him. He’s the worst.

Wow I didn’t know he actually got his kid into RCF

Yes.
