When you go all in on limited numbers of wildly expensive weapon systems you certainly don't expect to lose them, especially not in this fashion. They are expensive precisely because they're made to be so relatively advanced we won't suffer losses.

Because jets cost $80-$100M a piece and we are cutting entire programs that benefit US citizens. It is quite ironic from an administration that claims to care about waste.
