She has renegotiated her prenup every time he gets caught with his fly open. She is as corrupt and despicable as trump. She probably gets a $1,000,000 every month just to stay with him and make occasional appearances with him

We also know that Trump at least in his olden days could be charismatic. Even if she finds him physically repulsive (eating McDonald’s every day and potential incontinence by drug abuse) and idiotic 99% of the time, she might have appreciated how he could charm others; how he charmed her.
She just has to hold on for another 5-10 years and then she can find her jujitsu instructor and live happily ever after.
You think being married to DJT is “beyond winning lotto?”
Boy do we see things differently!
DP - she was “brought” to the US to “model” and essentially “sold” to Trump. That being said, Her life here is exponentially better than what she came from.

She’s wealthy and free to do what she wants and realizes that at this stage she’s not likely to do better (“better” - as in, access to wealth via-a-vis personal autonomy). But also, I don’t think she wants to - their personalities are well-matched, and they talk. Not everyone is rushing off to divorce because things aren’t emotionally blissful like in fairy tales. Also he’s older, and she knows she’ll be well-rewarded for her loyalty all these years. She reminds me of a patient cat, crouching and waiting stoically. One could call this kind of attachment over years “love”
I think it's purely transactional. That said, though, I'd read your short story about the patient cat. (Please take that as a sincere compliment.)
