If your child only focus on being the top in class it would be problematic, being the top from the top is not easy even if you try. Some teachers are very hard on giving A, some test questions was even not ever explained.

Attend the preview night on Tuesday and ask questions.
TJ is fun, so many activities, cool labs, the kids there are so nice, never heard of drama. Most likely your child will have like minded cohort.

No way. DC has missed 22 days in DCPS. His way of taking it easy I guess. Imagine having to go to TJ where his uncle went.
I told him that he wouldn't graduate. He said: 'No child Left behind'. This kid will be fine without TJ or college.

Absolutely not, TJ Parent here. It's liked being raked over hot coals even when you wanted to go.
