You know, it was clearly meant to be a provocative comment. I agree with you there. But that doesn't take away from the fact that her response makes her look totally ignorant.
I am truly embarrassed for her. I think she is used to being the quickest, brashest, toughest person in the room in a small setting. I am from New England and St Anselm's is a lovely school and community filled with students who are not very academic. She is absolutely not ready for the world stage and is making a mockery of herself and our country.
I miss Jen Psaki. She would have just said "Noted. Next."
She was a very bright professional. I miss having smart people in charge.

Yes....and she was smart enough to not be petulant every time someone asked an intelligent question. I guess when you are spewing lies and propaganda it's hard to prepare for real questions.
