I don’t need data to support my claim. My kid went there and it was great and safe. All of our friends alls loved it. You’re free to look for data if you want.
Two of my children, as well as my nephew, attended Caraon, as well. I don't disagree that it's a good school. What I take exception with is your statement that it is the safest middle school and that no other school is as safe as Carson.
That type of statement, based solely on your limited experience over a short, two-year period, is the type of statement that you would expect from either someone who is poorly educated, is limited in cognitive ability, or is a child who has not yet developed their critical thinking skills.
Most adults would say, "Our experience was that Carson was a very safe school" or "We never had concerns about our child's safety while he/she was a student at Carson," statements that are both factual and avoid broad, sweeping generalizations.
Then we should also question the validity of OP’s question. What kind of responses would be acceptable to that? Only ones with “data.” Any answer to “is Rachel Carson dangerous” is surely goong to be anecdotal.

I'm OP and I am not a troll, as I've already said at least once on this thread. Have you not read the threads about rape threats on the bus, attacks in the bathrooms, etc?
No one else has corroborated the rape threats and whoever started that thread wouldn’t even go to the admin or file a police report as they were told. They also tried to bring up a lawsuit from years ago that FCPS won as a scare tactic. Everyone else has said they haven’t heard of any rape threats and there was going to be an assembly to address racist language but not any rape threats. Everyone else spoke up and said they loved Carson. Then data was demanded. Two trolls - this thread and the other. Probably same OP.

What would you suggest? My 170 IQ kid (a Carson student) who went to Princeton would have found regular classes a complete waste of time. She was very sociable and got along with virtually everyone. But she needed to be in at least a modestly challenging academic environment. Go to private school? I come from poverty and was a first generation college student. I was a scholarship D1 athlete who believed in mental toughness and resilience. I believe in public schools, and strain to avoid private schools. By the way I found the teachers at Carson to be excellent and put significant emphasis on character and conduct, driving home that being smart only counts for so much.
One of the economic factors that drives productivity is investing in the top ten percent, as much as it may bother you. I worked a summer in the 80’s at Duke’s Talent Identification Program, back when meritocracies were not discouraged. Yes the middle school kids in the program, shared with Hopkins, were in a bubble that summer, but they flourished. I did sports instruction for them, and received letters from parents that it was the first time they enjoyed PE without any bullying. In this vein your complaints about a bubble ring hollow. Put another way, is it the case your feelings are more important than outcomes?

She took 13 AP courses - 5's in all. Highest PSAT score in the state (from TJ). Not Asian - not pushed. No hovering. I come from a family with no education and poverty, but went to one of the best schools in the country. My kid needed challenge. You simply don't understand unless you have a kid like this. I am sure you were an athlete like I was, but the way out for me from poverty was being an environment where no limits applied. I think you might be confusing AP and AAP. Taking AP classes in HS is independent of AAP status in middle and elementary schools. I’m sure your DC survived being mixed with those riffraff Honors and gened MS kids once they all got to HS and took AP classes together. I doubt the non-AAP MS school kids were any less prepared for college simply because of a class they did or didn’t take back in 7th or 8th grade.
Regardless, congrats to your daughter. She sounds uniquely driven and smart.
