They have to get it "approved" first??
No idea. Latest text says the school will ensure that students receive lunch (because lockdown went into effect a little past 11, and lunch period starts at 11:30). They don't want parents coming to the school. Duh. Why would anyone show up if police haven't apprehended a suspect in the area?
How does lunch distribution work if everyone is lockdown and then shelter in place? What food(s) did they offer students (staff?) today?

"umm" no. Parents generally do not have the immediate right to retrieve their children during the lockdown. The primary concern during such an event is the safety of all individuals on campus, and school authorities, law enforcement, and emergency responders will prioritize ensuring the students are safe and secure.
Somehow my kid was able to leave wnd walked home.
Do they usually leave at that time? Was it a different schedule at school, so they could leave today? Or are there typically that many students off campus during school hours excluding lunch.
There was a student/staff basketball game today and I'm sure there were kids who left campus during that time. Doors aren't locked from the inside unless there's a lockdown. I find it hard to believe PP's kid was able to leave during the lockdown, though. My kid was in his 4th period class until the end of the day and no one was even allowed to leave the classroom to go to the bathroom.

Yeah, but the problem is that 17% is involved in like 90% of the fights and gun crime.
Yet the shooter was white.
Yup. So much for the narrative that it's just Black kids who are misbehaving.
I saw the video. All of the kids in the video were white.
So....it must be WJ then?!![]()
As I'm sure you're aware, there are plenty of white kids at B-CC, or are you the PP with the racist kid who calls B-CC "black criminal children"? I'm just saying that the people earlier in the thread (you?) who assumed the students involved were black are incorrect.
