Also not clear why if the FBI was involved he was allowed to just walk out of the house to go camping?
And actually how the protesters sitting outside the house didn’t see him leave.
He saved the government millions of dollars by offing himself. And at least he did it isolated in a park rather than in his parents home.
Does anyone think Gabby’s parents could be sued for wrongful death for causing, or contributing to, his suicide, since they brought to much publicity to the case?

According to the documentary, when he left the house observers mistook him for his mother. Also the parents lawyered up minutes after they got Brian’s phone call. They were under no legal obligation to cooperate with the investigation. And they didn’t destroy evidence, etc.

+1
I agree - it was like they knew that Brian had assaulted Gabby and in the end they rewarded him with a free night in a hotel room where they encouraged him to spend the evening watching TV while they advised Gabby to go to a public shower 🚿 house.
Luckily the documentary stated that she ended up driving to the hotel and stayed with Brian that night.
Luckily? LUCKILY? She should have called her parents and been on the next flight to NY.

I couldn’t agree any more.
Then they give him a free lift to a hotel where they advise him to shower and relax while watching some good tv.
And they send Gabby Petito off alone in the van, that she is scared to even drive out into the unknown before dusk.
They even encourage her to drive to a public shower since they believe a relaxing shower would alleviate much of her anxiety/stress since it works for his wife when she feels anxious.
Gabby ended up spending the night at the hotel as well according to the Netflix doc.
