The timing couldn't be worse. France and Germany are effectively with no government, elites are in disarray, people confused and disoriented. The only hope lies in the sheer enormity of the threat; it might awake us out of our slumber before it is too late.

Americans are way too trusting. It’s clear that nobody is coming to save us. The Republicans are fine with a monarchy, the military is fine with a monarchy, everyone’s fine with corruption because they think they can get on it too. I wish everyone would watch The Gilded Age (no hard history reading required!) and tell us if you’re okay with mass corruption, zero safety nets, no workers’ rights, and women and minorities being relegated.

I know we’re only a month in, but truly, what has Trump done yet to positively impact any of his voters? Gas prices/milk/egg prices haven’t gone down, taxes haven’t been cut, many of his voters have been fired from their jobs…. So, DEI really impacted everyone in their personal daily lives? The immigration stuff, albeit important, has been poorly executed and he had no strategic plan (and no infrastructure to pull it off). Meanwhile, he has fired many immigration judges and there are no longer enough competent federal prosecutors to handle the crooks. At best, he has created chaos.
