According to the organization's website, the 24-hour spending pause sends a message to corporations, industries, and politicians about economic power in the U.S., which they say is "in the hands of the wealthy elite."

Saving all my weekly spending for Feb 28th.
Thanks for the heads up, commie.
You seem to be using words you don’t understand.
You seem to be at a complete loss for a substantive retort. But still felt the need to let your empty head rattle out of your cakehole.

Because no one in the entire history of the world was fired from a job. You are so special, so unique, of course you are terrified. Those wusses who saw their children blown apartment by an IEP or their house leveled by a fire or flood have no patch on the true terror in which you live.
As a COO, what the feds are doing is outrageous. This is not how you fire people.
What are you talking about. Companies these days just cut off your computer access from your basement and send you an email with the news.
Since you don’t appear to be paying any attention, there are actual rules and regulations that our government is required to work under because, well, it’s the government. When the government stops obeying its own laws, what does that mean for the rest of us?
It stopped enforcing immigration law long ago
That ship has sailed

Anonymous wrote:I can't tell if it's because of the Target boycott or the unstable job market around here, but my local Target was teeming with leftover Valentine's Day stuff on Jan 19 when I went to the CVS pharmacy in there.
There was much more merchandise leftover 5 days after the holiday than I've ever noticed in the past.
CVS pharmacy was unable to fulfill a critical prescription my T1D kid needed this weekend, so the pharmacist helped me transfer it to a pharmacy that had the item in stock. It just so happened that the pharmacy was Walmart pharmacy. Again, right when I walked in the store, they had shelves of 90% off Valentine's Day clearance up front.
OTOH, my local Costco was an absolute madhouse. I couldn't find parking on Saturday so I left and decided to try again on Sunday. Yesterday was just as bad and I had to employ the same strategy I use when I visit the outlet mall: slowly follow someone to their car and wait for them to load & leave to get their space. I noticed when I was waiting in line for the worker to check my receipt to leave that the line for new memberships was very long. And yes, I know it was new memberships b/c they now have a sign that says memberships <- and returns -> b/c the lines have been so long. I guess DEI does matter to some people.

Are you the old white guy who was asking the Girl Scouts if their cookies are made in China in front of Safeway yesterday? You really need to get off the internet. You’re not smart enough to use it responsibly.
No - that was not me. I am a youngish Mom of 3 including one who was a Girl Scout.
