My good friend at NCI was recently promoted and just got fired. What a reward for a huge amount of work.

There are multiple DOGE cells being assembled at DoD similar to other agencies.

PP. DoD has the powerful lobbyists and will be a good barometer of musk’s aims. Musk’s federal handouts don’t come from USAID and USAID was investigating him. Musk has a different relationship with DoD and will be interesting to see the results of his “audit.”

I heard Elon and his team detected and stopped $ 235 billion in fraudulent payments at Treasury in one weekend that Treasury was aware of but regarded to cumbersome to audit and eliminate for years - they just kept the payments going . Think about that . That is our money . $235 billion is enough for free college education/ tech job training for every American.

We all know their is tons of contract fraud at DoD-

We should be cheering for Elon and his team. Maybe some Fed employees should get smart and approach him as whistleblowers and see if they can negotiate a reward for ID'ing fraud in their department

Are you going to pay less in taxes as a result? This won't help you at all.

I'm not cheering for 20 year olds to fire my friends and family without notice and to make our food dirty from lack of inspections and to starve people from ceasing food shipments overnight. Why would I cheer for that??

No, I'm going to cheer that we've pushed the collapse of the country off for a little bit of time since we're in debt up to our eyeballs.

The debt per citizen today is $107,000 and per tax payer it is $323, 000. Source: US Treasury, Federal Reserve and US Census Office.

You're under this ridiculous illusion that there is no problem. Well there is.

We definitely won't be solving the debt problem by cutting taxes again for the wealthy and corporations.

Or, by firing IRS agents or the CFPB. I think everyone would be on board if they were transparent about the process, used auditors and not college-age programmers and didn’t slash the agencies that actually bring money INTO the treasury

No one is against looking into fraud or waste that’s why we have OIG?! Musk is acting like no one has ever investigated anything. He’s a moron.

I have a problem with President Musk getting $400 million taxpayer dollars for his Cybertrucks while crowing about DOGE, but if you MAGAS didn’t have double standards you wouldn’t have any.

You mean the garbage that has made this country the sickest in the entire world?

You realize that the European countries with healthier populations have a lot more food inspection and rules that are being enforced?

EU laws simply don’t allow the poisons that US government allows.

Get back to us when MAGAz agree to regulate PFA levels in oir public drinking water and remove them from sludge used to farm the food we eat. MAGA idiots are yakking about red dye and spotty research on seed oils while getting cancer from water and "natural" food because PFAs are making us all sick and the research there is not spotty

If DOGE really wants to do the job they've signed up for they can document their findings and make a report to Congress, which can then address all these issues as they fund the government going forward (starting with the budget that should be passed next month).

That is not what is happening right now.

looking into how money is spent is fine. but I HIGHLY doubt DOGE has figured it all out in 3 short weeks. Their slash and burn tactics tell me otherwise.

all of this money is transparently reported, and that transparency is what is enabling DOGE and minions to find things they don't like. The things they are finding are literally just "things they don't like"; they are not fraud or abuse or anything. The lies about this is why "your side" looks bad.
