So taxes are not supporting just rich frequent flyers. They are supporting global trade and a decent chunk of our GDP.
And the rich people who make money off that trade. Meanwhile ATC are underpaid and overworked. This industry is highly subsidize by the US government. At what point does the government get out of the business and let the airlines pay the full cost?
