DP. I think it depends what your goal is. If you want people to appreciate the point you are making, then you have to meet their understanding where it is and also recognize that throwing Hitler/Nazi makes some people stop listening. So many people on this board claim to be lawyers, litigators no less, surely those folks know that there are ways to be persuasion but loaded analogies aren’t one of them.
