I feel so bad for them and their family, but it's kind of like slowing down to watch a car crash. It sounds like they made horrible financial decisions and since they don't have genuine careers to buoy them are having to strike while the iron is hot (poor choice of words, but summarizes my thoughts).
You feel bad for people who had several million dollars in cash, bought a house and didn’t get insurance? Maybe spend your time feeling bad for people who don’t have that kind of access to wealth or the ability to raise thousands of dollars in TikTok. Go volunteer at a soup kitchen or something.

“I made, like, $4,000 on TikTok this week, but on TikTok Live, where people can just give to me direct, I think maybe $20,000. So that’s phenomenal, and life-changing. That’s the power of individual supporters, people just backing you and getting behind you,” says Pratt. “And that’s the most powerful when you don’t have to rely on ads or AI and algorithms when just actual human beings just want to give. It’s unbelievable and incredible.”
It is so incredible when people just give you money. So powerful when you don't have to share with the company platforming you and can just collect the dough (not defending TikTok and their ilk)
