I am from Africa and the United States is an incredibly beautiful country. So many great road trips. And American national parks are so maintained.

I don't think Americans are aware of how beautiful their country is. Maybe they are and I am just late to finding out lol

PP thank you for appreciating our country. We truly do have a very beautiful country. I have never been to Africa. Here in the USA the 3 countries that come to mind are Morocco, Egypt and South Africa. I am sure there are many other countries in Africa that are equally beautiful, but perhaps suffer from poor infrastructures.

I got to see the artifacts and scrolls in the mosque at Timbuktu before it was all destroyed by terrorists. 1000 year items that were in the same location for a millennium. Amazing.

+1. And I will say as an African American Japan was the most welcoming country I have been to and I have been to many places in Europe, Asia and Latin American.

I have also travelled extensively, although I'm white. And yes, just something special about Tokyo, and so very different from the west.
