For those applying to Stone Ridge and Visi as first choice, what score did your daughter receive? Was the result about as expected?

Likely matters at SR and Visi. Matters for placement (but not acceptance) to O’Connell and I would assume the same for Ireton.

You need to define 'bombs' and clarify where she is applying. Some schools require a higher HSPT than others.

We got them from Arlington Catholic school last Friday. General sense from my kid and others I heard about is they did around the same as the practice one over the summer (if they took it).

My kid also felt it was about the same difficulty level of the pre-hspt from the spring. She scored a bit higher but I think that is reflective of the preparation she put in.

Does St Johns care if you don't get a high score or do they typically admit the highest scores. What about the benilde program?

Just looked at it the other day. My son took it at O’Connell I think that same day. It doesn’t show up either. We did get an email from admissions saying not to contact them and they will contact us if anything is missing.

Thank you for checking. Yes, it’s quite confusing to tabulated because of how they subdivide the categories. Congratulations on an incredible showing for your child! Truly impressive, and you must be very proud. May I ask what you did to prep?

We are still waiting for results.

Purchased a couple of prep books from Amazon and worked together through them and the practice tests.

Congrats! Are you able to count how many questions they answered correctlyout of the 298? The results should be listed per section, or, in longer sections? Per subsection (and to be added together for the section total).

My son's Gonzaga file does not show that HSPT scores are received nor have we received them ourselves. He took the test on December 7 at Gonzaga.
