Buffets in general are my “lowbrow” fave. Remember Sizzler? Being able to pile everything you want on your plate, getting ten entrees, second helpings! Anybody who doesn’t love that is living a sad life, imho.


I love the Pennsylvania chain Hoss's. Including the dessert bar.

My family still celebrates special occasions at Olive Garden for the kids. My mom used to take us to Red Lobster whenever she had extra money.

Personally I love Cracker Barrel - pancakes and shopping? Yes please! Down in Va Beach we also go to Village Inn for breakfast.

My favorite waffle tees and sweatpants are from Walmart. My house slippers are from Costco and my plants are from Trader Joe’s.

We also do a lot roadtrips and love Hampton Inn too.

Guess I’m a happy basic B

I am legit fascinated by the PP who’s eating freaking rainbow trout in a furniture store. But not in a judgey way. It makes me want to try it.


I am not one of those people, mainly because I am too full of meatballs to try anything else.

When my kids were little and sometimes annoying, and my DH was working weekends, an afternoon in the ball pit while I "shopped" and then picked them up to eat meatballs was like a mini vacation.

I don't remember this incident, but do remember Kendra. I have not been to an Olive Garden (didn't grow up in an area with one or ever lived somewhere close to one, not a snootiness thing) but will continue to boycott them in solidarity. What aholes.
