So what if there are no kids? This is the OP. The guy I'm dating had no kids with his ex-wife but he says that she was not vanilla in bed. In fact she initiated some of the stuff like anal and footjobs which sounds weird to me. Either way the ex-wife had wanted to try therapy before divorcing. Things didn't work even though they had spent last Thanksgiving together with her family and went thru therapy. His AP was a married woman too but I didn't ask if she was attractive. He dislikes when I ask questions out of curiosity.

Yep. And if she was that way when you married her- that’s on you. If time and kids and stress and midlife did that- you owed it to your wife and kids to work it out.
