Perhaps you have a point.

The VP pick wouldn't have made any difference and the Dems are fortunate they didn't tarnish a 2028 frontrunner like Shapiro.

Shapiro would have campaigned better but the Dems miscalculated what would resonate or alienate by assuming more voters would hate the popular governor from a swing state because he’s Jewish.

Next time let’s pick dynamic candidates from swing states.

But would have securing only Pennsylvania be the difference between winning and losing? I don't think this would have moved the needle enough.

He would have hurt with Muslim voters in MI. There was no winning here, because the top of the ticket was weak. Period.

Michigan looks like it is going red anyway.

This!!

Jesus Christ as the VP wouldn’t have helped. Evil won.

Democrats: evil won!

Also democrats: why won’t those evil people vote for us?

Democrats are on the side of evil when it comes to what they support.....gender transitions for minors, sexualizing kids, open borders allowing drugs and human trafficking to flourish, cities getting burned to the ground during BLM, soft on crime harming vulnerable populations, males in women's spaces (women getting raped by men in prison), pushing racism and DEI which further divides the country, abortion without limits.

This!! I’ve been screaming this since August. The problem was Kamala, she wasn’t ready and was too nervous and flip flopped too much. And Walz was just….there? That’s all I can say about him.

If we had a Michele Obama and Pete Buttigieg ticket, they would’ve easily won imo.

Yeah ok keep dreaming. That is what is wrong with you people. Pick someone with good policy not just because of skin color, gender, gay.

I think the winner of the election was picked based on skin color and gender.

Bless your heart. Obama beat the crap out Romney in counties in Michigan that Harris lost or barely won. Obama won Indiana! Try again.

Of course you do. And you’re unwilling to see that you’re the only one fixated on those immutable characteristics.

Shapiro didn’t want to be hooked to Biden’s broken down clown car of misery. He is smart.

Absolutely yes. This was a bad call.

It is because people are deeply sexist and racist ( a woman, black/south Asian American President? we apparently 'weren't "ready" for a white woman how could we elect a black one,' mentality). no one admits it, well, except that orangehead and people secretly (or not so secretly) love that he says things out loud that they hold inside. But somehow an orangehead is ok.

There was no good choice. Nothing would have mattered. Biden wasted 4 years trying to actually govern, while Trump used it to undermine, scheme, and sabotage. Democrats needed to wake up and see the real threat, and they didn't. They thought it was over. If Biden had not attempted to run for a second term, and there had been a real primary, we might have gotten a more popular candidate who might have been able to do something in time. But we'll never know. The whole thing was bungled.

Democrats stepped on a rake because they got led astray by the Progressive caucus. They chose Harris, a mistake. And they chose Walz, another mistake.

I absolutely think Vance helped steer independents to Trump.

I’m an Independent. Trump won because of Joe Biden’s public blunders and suspected dementia . That’s what I am seeing in my circles.

Why wasn't Trump's dementia a problem?
