Here we go again going after NCAP GP. Please, the story is old and tired. Nothing has changed over the years, the site is top heavy with success and output. No site or team in the DC area compares. The swimmers outcomes speak for themselves.

NCap AU is not good, like at all-crazy they still even have that site. NCap

Prep is better but going downhill and losing swimmers.

If you can do the drive, go to Jeremy Lin. That is all you need to know about NCap

The coaches at AU are awesome and have a stellar track record. The overall site is a little down at the moment, but they’ve produced elite results for 20 years; they’ll be back.

They have not produced an elite swimmer before or since Phoebe Bacon but hey if you want to stay there do so at your peril. The site has lost like a dozen swimmers in the last three years to various clubs.

Only the sites in VA seem to be producing fast swimmers.

Is the good distance swimmer who was there okay? My daughter noticed yesterday she wasn't at champs, then realized she hasn't seen/raced her all season.

One of their female distance swimmers moved out of state right before the start of the year, and one of their sprinter/mid-distance girls had a surgery and is out on recovery.

My child is at NCAP-Burke, and I can tell you hands-down the best 11-12 girls are at NCAP-Loudoun.

This type of thing ebbs and flows. Sometimes certain sites have a really fast group at a certain age or gender, but then other age groups or genders at the site are not as strong. The NCAP VA sites overall are very strong. Loudoun, West, NoVa and Burke all have elite talent.

Doesn’t that site have a PV-record-setting sprint star?

Sometimes you switch for pool location or a particular coaching style doesn't work for a kid. There is no one size fits all out there.

NCAP-P is fundamentally anti-sprints, and this swimmer is a sprint specialist. Certainly a better fit

Sometimes you switch because you see the mirage.

Torn ACL injury & subsequent surgery.

Oh no! Wishing her the best. She was someone my kid liked to race.
