Esther is pretty clueless about most things and I don't get how she works full-time yet spends her days on social media and campaigning for others. Dawn is a nut job who blocks people who disagree and ask hard questions.
Esther Wells is a budget genius. That is why MCPS could not let her be on the BOE.
She definitely does not come across as someone who is a genius in any capacity. I’m sorry your standards are so low. Grateful that the rest of the county has functioning brains and did not vote her into office.

The case against Diaz has been documented.
Did you read the article? All documented and facts. She is a liability and someone who couldn’t follow simple rules her employer gave her. That alone makes her an awful candidate.
The rules were stupid. If no one had ever pushed back on them, there would still be mask mandates.

Fact remains the board is in a bad state because they "yes maam" each other and takes things way too far on the progressives side. That is exactly why I'm voting for Diaz.
One dissenting vote on the board is a great start. She may not be the perfect candidate but I guarantee she would have pushed back and asked some questions about McKnight rather than letting her run amok and having to pay her off mega bucks to leave.
The board is broken. Things are bad. Companies who have moved to montgomery county to provide good education for their employees children are watching. We need to get back to sanity.
Companies don’t move to Montgomery county. Be real.
We are the 3rd largest biopharma hub in the US.
For now......
I'm not sure why people would move here to work for them though. The traffic stinks, there little nature left unless you go to Virginia or the mountains, and now the schools are terrible.
I’ll have to disagree with you there. Montgomery county has a ton of nature and parkland. Vastly more than NoVa which let developers just clear cut and drop townhomes everywhere.

Wow, no religion barred masking or the Covid vaccine. And, God had no place in public schools.
The First Amendment guarantees a place for God in schools. You are practicing the exact form of discrimination Diaz complained about.
She’s isn’t very smart and can’t write a coherent essay, but who in the BOE or MCPS admin is?z
She is correct that coercive measures to mandate everyone inject a new vaccine is wrong. Remember thalidomide? Why is it progressive to hate on Big Pharma for everything except vaccine mandates?
And masks are terrible in school, and everyone knows it. If school is so unsafe that everyone needs a mask while having conversations in class, the class shouldn’t be in-person.
dp.. there are currently vaccine mandates for kids to go to public schools. Where was your outrage before covid over this?
FWIW, I was a bit suspect over DC who was 12 at the time getting the covid vax because I felt they did not do enough research on prepubescent girls and how the vax would impact their growth and hormones. DC did eventually get it.
Just so we're all having the same conversation, there is not and there has never been a vaccine mandate for children to get the covid shot. It's not on the list of mandatory vaccines.

It has some but the county will sell it off soon enough.
