Luckily I have Tricare secondary and so will have to see if they will still pick up the difference. Not sure with that increase they will. I will know next week when I am do for my refill. Anyway, if you have standard please let me know. Thx

$643.

Was this at CVS? I saw on another forum that someone was able to get Wegovy at CVS with Standard for $154 which sounds like the mail order price. Wondering if maybe CVS is honoring the Caremark price if Caremark cannot ship

Yes CVS

I got zepbound at $350 like above pp and am on bcbs fep. I was not required to try any other medications first either. However I am only covered until May this year.

How easy was the coupon? Did the pharmacy have it or did you get it from the doctor?

Amazon Pharmacy applied it automatically.

I’m FEP standard and on Zepbound. But I had to try Saxenda and Wegovy first indeed FEP BCBS. Or, my MD certified that Saxenda was counterindicated because of another medication I’m on, and that I had stalled on Wegovy (which I had). I’ve been paying about $400 a month with coupon— but my max OOP w/ FEP standard is $6000. They credit the non-coupon price (about $650) and I have other medical issues, so I usually hit my max by June. Then I pick it up every 3 weeks and it’s $0 a fill. With a FSA, I have about 3-4 months where I get reimbursed and couple where it’s painful, but it’s worth it. The side effects are so much better.

BSBC Fed Standard won't allow me to be on Zepbound until I first try Wegovy. Then I can switch over. I have considered compound but I'd like to start out on brand name under my dr's care and then switch over later to maintain if I'm successful on this.

It's annoying because you know that even if the drug is $1400, BCBS is getting discounts/rebates that bring that down so I'm basically paying the full price of it.
