Economist here, I think we're all very well aware at this point that we're hated. We're also a small enough and well-paid enough profession that we make a convenient bogeyman. As a fellow economist, I say go p-hack and cherry pick data elsewhere.

All credibility was lost when “experts”politicized science and shunned those who dared to question them throughout the pandemic.
