There are good kids on non top 10 teams, but the gap between tops teams and rest of country is a little more severe than some other classes. The top 3 teams at that age group (YJLI, M&D black, and MDU) are pretty far ahead of everyone else at this point as teams, but lots of talent around country.
The gap gets closer as the girls get older. I can see some up and coming teams challenging the 3 mentioned. But you are correct that those 3 teams will stay near the top.
MDU might be the top club at actually developing lacrosse talent (or they just get naturals due to the Annapolis location) but either way if this 2030 team can avoid losing kids to Hero's M&D and Skywalkers like many of the previous grad classes they will remain in top-5 for years.
2027 and 2028s both seem to have kept most of the talent there and are both top-15 teams.
Not even close! MDU doesn’t recruit, most of the coaches are terrible, and they consistently lose their top talent once parents figure it out. They are lucky to be somewhat isolated from the bmore teams, they are good in years where the Annapolis area has talent and they don’t split it with Integrity. The 2027s are what they are and have held steady, but the 2028 team is losing ground every year. They went from winning NGLL Mid Atlantic, to being top 3, to being top 10, to now hanging on to top 15. They will not be a top 10 team again, zero recruiting.

So if someone thinks your claim is absurd, they must have a mediocre daughter? Is that your logic?
I will be sure to let the 2028 and 2027 parents know the 2029s are all coming for their positions come High School.

It’s really not that difficult to see who the top players are and assess relative depth of different classes as they progress. Again, there will always be some late bloomers, there will always be some
elite kids who drop off, but those are exceptions to the rule. I can definitely look at the 2029 kids right now and tell you that 9 out of 10 of the elite kids will remain elite throughout HS. And like I said, come back in a few years; the 2029 kids at UA150 and BIC next summer will still be the majority of the elite kids come 12th grade.
That is a different argument.
I think we all agree top players at age 13 are likely to be top players at age 17.
The argument is, you are identifying these 13 years old as being more advanced and in higher numbers than the previous classes that came before them and after (2030) which I am saying at this point, is really impossible to say.

The 2029 class will be entering the recruiting cycle soon, so go ahead and print out the wave one ua150 2029 list and come on this board once they start committing. Those girls will be scooped up by top college teams and all the bitter moms like you will screech about how your B team kid is better but just didn’t get the chance.
Sure thing, Mr. Marinovich! SMH....
LOL, such a loser.
