Hmm, no. I'm that person who goes for a walk or run every single day, handing out a small wave/smile to the regulars. Then I may chat with the neighbors, before retreating indoors and working from home. I run errands a few times a week, because it's great to kill 2 birds with one stone (I'll walk there). On weekends, I go to coffee after my Sunday class with friends.

Normal introverts aren't afraid of going outside or making eye contact, or having some conversation a few days a week with people outside of your household.

People aren't saying they're "afraid" of doing those things. They just don't care to do them or need very little of it compared to others.

And there are plenty of ways of having conversations with people outside of your household while never actually leaving the house. Those of us who work from home might spend all day talking to people outside of our household. I certainly don't need to leave my house to have a conversation with someone in the community who may or may not be friendly (and around here, people are generally pretty unfriendly). It's the quality of your interactions that matter, not the number or the locations where they take place.
