Yet, even if she still believes all of that to be true, she still prefers that menu of options over what this country will look like under another Trump presidency. If anything, that makes her endorsement even more powerful to me.

No true Scotsman, amirite, Boris? She was only served as chair of the House Republican Conference—the third-highest position in the House Republican leadership—from 2019 to 2021 and her father was a GOP Vice President. She didn't "stab the party in the back". She stood up to those traitors who marched on the Capitol on January 6th. As Kinzinger recently said, "I'm not courageous...I'm surrounded by cowards."
