He's clearly a fake Catholic convert; he's an atheist or a secret Hindu with his wife and kids. Wife and kids are not Catholic.
He's totally a fake Catholic. He told Kamala to "go to hell" on a made up charge.

Besides the absurdity of a supposed Catholic objecting to the historic mission of nuns, he’s the guy who also wants women with children to stop working and have maximum babies. How can anyone be so oblivious to say that moms shouldn’t work outside the home, women with no kids shouldn’t work with kids, and the only purpose for women whose kids are grown is to take care of their grandchildren? It seems pretty clear that the just doesn’t approve of women no matter what they do. This guy isn’t qualified for any job dealing with people or their life choices. He has negative personality.
Very well said. I want to know what his LSAT scores were. There is no way this guy got into Yale Law the normal way...with great grades and LSAT scores. Someone "back-doored him in_

Didn't his MIL basically raise the kids while his wife worked in the law firm?

Yes, because the idea is to close public schools and homeschool.
And they'll close the public libraries too.
I believe that there has been a shift in reading materials for children over the last decade or two. I believe a lot of parents, who are more conservative than the schools, are deeply upset about it. These are the real “culture wars” that we hear about. The Karens vote.
No one is talking about climate change family finances or other long term issues much. It’s books and protecting grade schoolers now. Religious stuff. The shift is happening and Vance is seizing on the malcontent.
We’ll see if there are enough marginalized grumpy voters for him. But they are real, agree or disagree.
Teacher here. I was a teacher for 8 years before I had a kid. Does he expect people in their 20's and early 30's not to teach? We have a teaching shortage if he hasn't noticed.
Also, I think I was probably a better teacher before I had a kid. It's a hard job and I had less time for it after my kid. It was a good thing that I had put in the early years without a a kid (because it's even harder in your first years on the job).
Some of the best teachers don't have kids!
