We should be making parking spaces even smaller and less available so idiots will have awful times trying to drive these really stupid vehicles.

You're seething with jealous rage. A gigantic SUV is necessary with 2-3 kids because you probably also have a dog or two... and you car pool, so maybe upwards of 5-6 kids in the truck... and the kids play travel sports, so there's a lot of equipment... and you have a second home, so you want to be comfortable going to and from, maybe two grandparents or a nanny ride with you to the second home.
P.S. There is a regular Wagoneer and a GRAND Wagoneer. They look nearly the same but the less equipped regular Wagoneers can be purchased for $50s-70s. Only the GRAND Wagoneer touches $100s.
Utterly r*traded logic. Gee, how did Americans ever exist and get around during the 60s, 70s, and 80s before SUVs ever became popular and cars were much smaller? Yet for many decades Americans with multiple kids and dogs were able to do it.
You are either an auto lobbyist or someone who drinks the r*tard Kool aid of the Auto industry.
99% of people aren't hauling 6 kids everyday, lol. Utter rubbish.

Oh wait, never mind they will justify the needed space
How will a big house kill a pedestrian or other people on the road in smaller cars? What a stupid comparison. Obscenely sized cars impose hazards on everyone else in everyday life e every single time they’re taken out on the road because they hit pedestrians in the upper body in the head, or are so heavy they obliterate other cars on the road in an accident.
You've clearly never seen the Wizard of Oz

They get better gas mileage, too, but a nice minivan is still very expensive, just not quite as much as the Wagoneer.

Yup, minivans make 1000x more sense than nearly every SUV. They often have more cargo space. They're better with gas mileage. They're also much safer for pedestrians because they have as high as a bumper. They drive so much better and don't have rollover issues. SUVs are the dumbest car design of all time..
Sure. Everyone knows that. A lot of people would rather drive an SUV. Most in fact.
Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:I guarantee the wagoner people and the oversized 4k sf house people are the SAME people. How else will everyone know how much money they have? That is the whole point!
Well, yeah. Americans make money to live a more comfortable lifestyle. Space is comfortable. Legroom is comfortable. Big new SUVs are comfortable. A big new house in the suburbs with a big yard and big garage is comfortable. If you want to be some pinko living in a shoe box "flat" with no AC and driving some manual tiny car go move to Europe.
Ironically, the new McMansions you loathe with all new appliances are much more efficient than the average sh**shack future tear down you seethers probably live in.

Well, huge station wagons with poor gas mileage were a thing. Many cars, though not as tall as SUVs, were very large and got very poor gas mileage. Also, seatbelts weren't required.

lol.
Imagine being so stupid you think any American made jeep is ‘a nice car’. A fool and their money are always departed. Exhibit A right here.
Imagine being so stupid as not to know the difference between parted and departed.

So many angry broke and/or childless people in this area. And also people who only have 1 or 2 kid(s) and wish they had more and started having kids earlier.

Interesting take. I like the car. Do not have one but it looks great both outside and in. Decent reviews. Jeep Train rated so I like that. Might be a little big but I do not see what the issue is. Some people like big cars. Not sure what your issue is. Many people feel the same way you feel except they hate small cars. I am not getting in the fight. Someday we will all have electric cars. My guess is that will be in 30 or so years when the battery technology is actually there. When that day comes --- there still will be big cars and people will drive them. You should find something else to fight against.
Some people like heroin, cocaine, and lsd too. What’s your point?
Big cars are stupid because there are more bad than good reasons to drive one. They are much, much more deadly for pedestrians and everyone around around them. They also pollute the environment much more and consume huge amounts of energy unnecessarily. They’re dumb AF vehicles. The only reason these puke worthy sized cars are allowed to exist is because of govt loopholes that the car industry lobbied for. They should be regulated as trucks that require commercial driver’s licenses to operate. No where else in the world do people drive stupidly sized cars like this.
Cars of any size are not stupid. They are not more deadly. there is no evidence of that. Keep your energy nonsense to yourself. No one cares. And as I said someday they will be electric and be that big or bigger. Not sure the point of you post other to expose yourself as not all that bright.
DP: Actually any lifted car/truck (giant tires and jacked up suspensions) are dangerous on the road because of where the bumper ends up (sometimes eye level of other drivers, thus useless for safety), altered blind spots making it harder to see other cars and pedestrians, and making it hard for other cars to see around/past/through it to anticipate traffic.
