No one wants to listen to Kamala reading teleprompter for an hour. Kamal speaking from her heart - totally a different story, that can be very entertaining.
There aren't teleprompters in debates. If Harris is the only candidate who shows up on the 10th, it will be a 90 minute live interview with an empty podium next to the one where Harris is standing.
If that happens I’m buying stock in ear plugs. 90 minutes of listening to Harris will make anyone’s ears bleed.
I think that’s why she doesn’t speak very much. Her voice is odd. She has a weird inflection and she’s shrill. Not pleasant.
Someone called her The Càckling Idiōt. It totally fits.
Trump does not laugh. It is really weird. His followers must not like normal humans that laugh on occasion.
World leaders aren’t known for their laugh. You don’t see Putin or Xi giggling on camera.
Authoritarian dictators are you models for world leadership? Ok. Stay dour I guess.
No, that is the reality of the world. I don’t choose reality.

In the post, former President Trump said the purported Fox News debate would be on Sept. 4.
"I have agreed with FoxNews to debate Kamala Harris on Wednesday, September 4th. The Debate was previously scheduled against Sleepy Joe Biden on ABC, but has been terminated in that Biden will no longer be a participant, and I am in litigation against ABC Network and George Slopadopoulos, thereby creating a conflict of interest," he said.

Trump has a point.
Not sure but when asked about it Fox News seemed to be in the dark. Figure this is just Trump making sh** up per usual.
If he were that bad, you wouldn’t have to make up lies.

And when asked about this right after Trump made it public Fox News had no comment because they were in the dark as much as everyone else. The guy is in his own delusional fantasy land and just not fit to serve.

They should both honor the September 8 debate on ABC.
No fox debate please.
Agree. If fox wanted to hold debates they should not have lied about the last election and had to pay out that huge settlement. They are proven liers and have no business holding a presidential debate.
+1
Fox is “entertainment”, not “news”.

Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Both candidates need to get a grip and start negotiating behind the scenes. Neither Harris nor Trump gets to unilaterally decide the terms of the debate.
September 10th was already negotiated.
There is no "both sides" here.
It was negotiated between the Biden and Trump campaigns, not the Harris campaign.
She needs to do her own work here and not just slide in on Joe’s coat tails.
Trump seems to be doing the work for her by making himself look too frightened to debate her.
Like try for a second to think about how a normal, non Trump-fan would perceive this. They had a debate scheduled, Biden dropped out of the race, and Trump wants to rearrange the format to one that is friendlier to him. Why? What could be wrong with the earlier format other than he feels he can’t win without some advantage?
I think many people recognize it for the strategic move it is. He agreed to the debate with Biden knowing all Biden’s challenges and foibles.
Now he is running against a different candidate and acting accordingly.
It’s all gamesmanship and is actually very sad for our country. I stand by my statement the two campaigns need to renogotiate behind closed doors.
But that wasn’t your statement. You said Harris needs to “do her own work.”
Trump could have easily renegotiated this. Instead he made a public statement demanding xyz. And the Harris campaign said, flatly, no. So how is she “not doing her own work?”
He looks like a scared old man. A weird scared old man in a panic.

What rules did Trump make up?
He said there would be an audience. That is not anywhere in the letter Fox sent out requesting a debate on September 10- not Septembrr 4.
Democrats don’t like debating in front of real
people. They can only save democracy without an audience.
