Folks...this is DCUM so guess what...we live in DC and our kids tend to work and live in DC, Boston, NYC, SFO and other cities where a young adult doesn't need or want a car.
I get that many people on the site are very suburban or live in anywhere US...but you can't come to a site with DC in the title and claim we live in "a bubble".
Most of the affluent 20-somethings working in DC have a car.
