I can also imagine a scenario in which either no one from the school was there, or they did not hear what was said. Our ES multicultural night does not typically have admin present and it’s nearly impossible to hear anything with all the people crowded into the little cafeteria. Would love to hear a report from a parent that was there. I think it’s very hard for admin to control parents at events like this, but they can certainly do training and provide support if children are exposed to any sort of hate speech.
What a terrible admin your ES has that they don’t participate!
