yup all of nva is currently updating tickets to fly backAnonymous wrote:Thank you. I get it now. Ecnl website shows courage as 2nd in their group, but I guess that’s not accurate.
Anonymous wrote:I think NVA 08s are in the top 16 and the ECNL website has it wrong. Courage had 6pts and a +1 GD yet advanced. Courage should be out and NVA in.
What am I missing?

2007s:
Union - basically out
NVA - should advance to R16
2008s:
VDA - Out
Brave - Out
NVA - Out on GD, 6pts & +2 wasn't enough
2009s:
VDA - should advance to R16
NVA - basically out
I thought the VA Union 07's had 5 or 6 big time D1 commits and national team players? They didn't win a game out there.
2010s:
Union - Out
VDA - need a W to advance to R16, not guaranteed
Bethesda - should advance to R16
Brave - basically out
2011s:
Arlington - Should advance to R16
VDA - Out
Bethesda - need a W to advance to R16, not guaranteed

Somewhere, Loudoun 07 Red Dad is crying in his beer, lamenting what could have been…Oh, who am I kidding? He hasn’t posted in a solid 5 years, his DD quit or switched clubs before making it to HS.

North American Cup and Showcase Cup still have tons of scouts. Stay mad though.
Scouts love walking past all the best teams so they can watch teams that didn't win their league.
If you do not know, don't post. Showcase A and B games have tons of coaches. They are looking at players not teams. They do not care if your team is the worst out there if there is some reason to watch you. They know who they want to watch before they show up.
Yea, recruiters are jumping out of their socks to watch the worst team out there.
Say it back to yourself out loud so you can hear how stupid it sounds.
you're so clueless...recruiters/scouts/college coaches aren't there to see a team play. They're there for an individual player that has reached out and they're interested in. they're not just walking around tournaments looking for games to watch.
I agree with you.
But the best players aren't on the worst teams.

Arlington 11, VDA 08, VDA 09, VDA 10, NVA 07 all have a chance to advance!
Of course nobody talks about that.
