In the photo he’s wearing a shirt with a Stealth Monitoring logo. Kind of creepy if he’s been working for a security camera company.




There’s a LinkedIn account for him that has him working there. Really unusual that someone committed a violent crime and then lived a fairly “upstanding” life for the next twenty plus years. I wonder if this has been weighing on him all these years, or if he’s blacked it out, or if he’s a sociopath and just doesn’t care. It’s so awful and weird. Possible he had a drug problem at the time, I guess. The robbery gone wrong seems the most plausible motive. Since they dated he probably knew where the valuables in the house were.

Which fits in with the theft supposition. She walked in on it and he killed her.

And this is why, I keep telling everyone over and over, your DNA is already out there. Everyone thinks their personal privacy is at risk by doing a test. That ship has long sailed.

You don't need to even do a DNA test with a private company , or anywhere, at all ever(!) ...any relative at all, 5th 6th cousin even, will identify you very quickly. I located my entire biological family with a random 4th cousin's DNA. All 121 close relatives, my parents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and yes, siblings.

He pleaded guilty to 2nd degree murder and faces 30 years in prison. Good job to the investigators for cracking the case open and basically denying him a plausible defense.

Computer Science ++?
Both parents had academic credentials with technical degrees, elite schools, and prestigious careers. It doesn’t make a lot of sense that he floundered so much unless something else was going on.

His brother was in fear of him, he may have spoken with police and given a DNA family tree sample. Once there was a match they were watching him and grabbed his water bottle at Dulles.

He was still living at home. Note divorce papers accuse perps mother of letting him run wild. Priors for burglary, and signs of violence.( brother, etc., also questioning for assault on his adjoining bikepath). He drove to Portland day of funeral and later feigned ignorance of the murder when encountering daughter by chance.
MOCO blew it by not interviewing; he was likely interrupted in a burglary attempt. Colleagues describe him as a self absorbed pretender.
