I don't get the accusations that if you don't like a popular work of art, you're a snob. If you don't like Game of Thrones, are you a snob? Big Bang Theory? Taylor Swift?

The truth is that not everyone likes everything, and it's okay for someone to dislike something mainstream and popular. I hate this idea that there are some things we all HAVE to like, and that if you don't like them, you're just being snooty or contrary. No. Sometimes people just don't like the thing you love. If you aren't interested in their opinion, disregard it. But they aren't wrong. Taste is subjective.
